These concept projects demonstrate Logic Studios’ approach to strategy, content organization, responsive design, lead generation, and custom functionality. They are not presented as completed client engagements. The challenge and solution described below are conceptual design exercises.
01Case study
Project overview
Pacific Flow Plumbing is a fictional plumbing and drainage company used to work through a structural problem: an eight-page site serving a homeowner in an emergency and a property manager planning next year’s maintenance, in the same three seconds.
The concept covers the full page structure, an emergency path that bypasses the marketing entirely, and a maintenance-plan section aimed at recurring commercial work.

Business challenge
Emergency work pays the bills today; maintenance agreements pay them next year. A site weighted entirely toward emergencies looks reactive to a property manager, while a site weighted toward contracts loses the homeowner who needed a number thirty seconds ago.
Drainage compounds the problem. It is usually filed as a sub-item under plumbing, which makes it invisible to anyone searching for it directly.
- Two audiences arriving with opposite levels of urgency
- Drainage services buried inside a general plumbing list
- Strata and commercial buyers needing scope, not reassurance
- Preventive maintenance requiring explanation before it can be sold

Website strategy
A slim emergency band sits above the header on every page with one action in it. It is always available and never asks the visitor to read anything else first.
Below that, the homepage is built for the deliberate visitor: services grouped into plumbing and drainage as equal categories, then a separate band written entirely for commercial and strata buyers.
- Emergency path resolved in one tap from any page
- Drainage promoted to a top-level service category
- A dedicated commercial and strata section with its own language
- Maintenance plans introduced as a service, not a sales page

Customer groups
The concept plans for three groups and writes each one its own entry point rather than trying to speak to all three at once.
- Homeowners — urgent, mobile, deciding in under a minute, wanting a number and a sense that someone will actually turn up
- Property managers — comparing vendors on coverage, response process, and reporting, usually on a desktop, often building a shortlist
- Strata councils — buying for a building rather than a unit, needing scope and predictable pricing they can present to a council meeting
05Case study
Service organization
Plumbing and drainage are treated as two parallel categories with equal weight in the navigation, each with its own overview page and its own set of service detail sections.
Every service entry answers the same four questions in the same order — what it covers, when it is usually needed, what happens on the visit, and how to request it — so a visitor comparing two services is comparing like with like.
06Case study
Conversion approach
Two conversion paths run in parallel and never compete. Emergency work goes to the phone. Planned work goes to a quote form that asks about property type, service needed, and access, so a dispatcher can schedule without a preliminary call.
Commercial and strata inquiries get a third path: a longer request that captures building count, current arrangement, and preferred reporting.
07Case study
Mobile experience
On a phone the emergency band collapses to a single full-width control, and the service categories stack into two clearly labelled groups rather than one long list.
Form fields are ordered so the shortest answers come first, which makes the form feel finishable when someone is standing in a flooded utility room.

Future opportunities
Where a business like this one would most likely go next, once the website is doing its job.
- 01A customer portal for strata clients holding service history and invoices
- 02Online booking for non-urgent work such as fixture installation and water-heater service
- 03Automated maintenance reminders tied to service agreements
- 04A drainage service-area map with neighbourhood-level coverage detail
- 05Scheduled reporting for property managers with multiple buildings
