Five stages, written down before anything is built

Most project trouble comes from a scope nobody wrote down. We agree the structure, the inclusions, and the price in writing, then work through it in a fixed order — so you always know where the project is and what is waiting on you.

Project stages

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn how the business runs before we talk about the website.

A conversation about your services, the customers you want more of, how work currently reaches you, and where the existing site gets in the way. You leave knowing whether we are a sensible fit — at no cost.

    You receive

A written summary of goals, audiences, and constraints.

    Your part

Bring your service list and any frustrations with the current site.

  2. 02

    Strategy

The site is planned on paper first: pages, priorities, and scope.

We map the page structure, decide what belongs on each page, and agree what is included. You receive a written scope and a fixed proposal, so there are no surprises about what is being built or what it costs.

    You receive

Sitemap, written scope, and a fixed-price proposal.

    Your part

Review and approve the structure and proposal.

  3. 03

    Design

Layouts are designed against real content, never filler text.

We design the key page types using your actual service names and wording, and you see how the site reads on a phone as well as a desktop. Revisions happen here, where changes are inexpensive.

    You receive

Designed page types for desktop and mobile, plus two revision rounds.

    Your part

Supply logos, photos, and brand material; give consolidated feedback.

  4. 04

    Develop

The approved design is built as a fast, accessible, maintainable site.

Development covers the responsive build, forms, integrations, search-engine foundations, and any content-management setup in the scope. Then every page, link, and form is tested across phones, tablets, and desktop browsers before you see it.

    You receive

A staged website, fully tested, ready for your review.

    Your part

Provide domain and hosting access; confirm the content is accurate.

  5. 05

    Launch and Support

We handle the launch, then stay available afterwards.

We coordinate the domain and hosting changes, verify the live site, connect analytics and Search Console if you want them, and hand over what you need to manage it. Post-launch support is included with every package, and a Website Care plan continues it.

    You receive

A live website, a short handover, and 30–60 days of included support.

    Your part

Approve the launch window and decide on ongoing care.

What gets checked

Testing is a written list, not a spot check. Every item below is confirmed before a site goes live.

  • Every page on phone, tablet, and desktop
  • Every navigation and footer link
  • Forms deliver to the correct inbox
  • Form validation and error states
  • Keyboard navigation and focus order
  • Colour contrast against WCAG AA
  • Heading structure on every page
  • Page speed on a mobile connection
  • Page titles and meta descriptions
  • Redirects from any old addresses
  • Sitemap, robots, and structured data
  • The 404 page and its links
